After a year of delay, the 16th edition of the UEFA Euro is finally ready to begin on June 11, with 24 countries aiming to win the prestigious trophy. The competition will take place at 11 separate sites in Europe for the first time in history.
The first match is on June 11 in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The other hosting venues are Parken Stadium in Denmark, Johan Cruijff Arena in The Netherlands, Fußball Arena Munchen in Germany, National Arena in Romania, Hampden Park in Scotland, St Petersburg Stadium in Russia, Estadio La Cartuja in Spain, and the Puskas Arena in Hungary. The semi-finals and final will take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
