UFC 278 Fight Card: Usman vs. Edwards

Almost seven years have passed since the first time Usman and Edwards fought together in the octagon. Since Usman’s victory over Edwards via unanimous decision at UFC in December 2015, he has only experienced success. Usman will attempt to match Anderson Silva’s record for the longest winning run in UFC 278 Fight history by going 16-0 in the octagon.

Jose Aldo, a former champion at featherweight, will compete in a bantamweight battle against Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event of the evening. After facing defeat in both of his opening matches in the UFC, Dvalishvili has gone on to win his last seven fights. After losing three straight battles, Aldo has won three in a row and wants to beat Dvalishvili to get back on track as a title contender.
