The UFC 263 returns to Gila River Arenas in Glendale, Arizona, with another flagship event on June 12 Saturday. It is likely the most widely anticipated UFC event of 2021. The main card fight of UFC 263 is a rematch between Nigerian-born Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori, this time for the UFC Middleweight Championship belt.

Adesanya defeated Vettori in April 2018, and both men have had great runs since. Since then, Adesanya has won eight straight bouts at 185 pounds, including his past belt defenses against Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa. In his previous fight against the current UFC Welterweight Champion Jan Blachowicz, he decided to test his luck at 205 pounds and lost unanimously.
On the other hand, Vettori believes he’s made a lot more progress in his career since their first battle, and he finds a significant weakness in the Adesanya’s armor. Following his loss to Adesanya, Vettori won a five-fight streak to earn a shot at UFC gold for the first time.
The co-main fight is also an exciting rematch, where Deiveson Figueiredo defends his flyweight title against Brandon Moreno.
