This coming weekend marks the arrival of Formula 1 at Austin, Texas, for the 2022 United States Grand Prix. The Circuit of The Americas is one of 12 different races that have held F1 racing in the United States, with ten hosting the US Grand Prix.
The sport has continued to gain popularity among fans in the United States since it debuted at the track in 2012. A third American race will be added to the schedule in 2023 when Las Vegas becomes a part of the series.
The race will include 56 laps of the 5.513-kilometre Circuit of The Americas and will last no longer than two hours, including any interruptions.

Sky Sports F1 will broadcast the United States Grand Prix live on Sunday, October 23. Every race will be aired live on Sky Sports F1 and Main Event during the season. In addition, highlights of the event will be broadcast on Channel 4 for free in the early morning of Monday.
